i got a few questions about deck canopies?
Ok my dads thinking about putting a deck canopy in our deck, you know those tent thingies? is that possible when the deck is like on the first floor? we have a walk out basement, and the deck is probably 10-15 feet high from the ground. I never seen a deck canopy tent thingies usually on lower decks. Is that possible? Probably something like this

It looks like a pretty easy thing to do. All the legs will need to be bolted into the decking to withstand any winds. If you are in an area where you get really strong winds maybe some additional reinforcing may be required. In AZ we get some super strong winds. You may live in a docile climate and your shade canopy may last for years. Go ahead and do it and enjoy the shade.

Anyone have set up instructions for a Hillary BaseCamp Tent?
I purchased a Hillary BaseCamp 3 room tent with weather fly and canopy. One problem it didn’t come with instructions. I bought on eBay so no I cant take it back and it looks like a discontinued model because I haven’t seen it at any stores. HELP PLEASE.

In your yard pull the tent out flat then tie stakes at the corners.
If you have a picture see where the poles go then put them through the guides then together.
The fly will go over this after you have raised it and may need guide lines.
Once you lay it out it should be simple if all of the poles are there.

It’s not that hard. I just put one together last weekend brand new, and we didn’t even think about using the instructions. Don’t worry about it, just make sure you have all the parts.
