Winter sweet 16 party?

My mom promised I will have a sweet 16 party but I don’t know how to have one in the middle of winter! I don’t really want to just rent out a place for dancing… I want it to be more than that.
If I had a summer birthday I would want a canopy tent with Christmas lights and paper lanterns where we would watch a movie via projector, then there would be dancing and a bonfire with hot dogs and smores. Then once it gets dark enough we would play a night game!
But see, in the winter we can’t do that. So what CAN I do?

He followed her silently as she turned to go, leading him towards the location of the great party. He could see hundreds of people raising tents, setting up tables, hanging lanterns, and making all types of exotic foods at the far end of the field. The party was the only thing on his mind, and all the Abora stuff felt like a day in the past. Even better, people didn’t bother asking for his autograph because, Max guessed, they were so engaged and distracted by the party.
“So, I am surprised you didn’t recognize me, with all the talk going around,” Max said, laying his shoulders back, letting the sun shine on his face.
“I actually did recognize you, but that’s not why I decided to go with you to the party,” Alexis replied.
“I’m glad you see it that way, I get tired of people asking me for my autograph.”

As they arrived at the field, Max set the groceries down near the blue canopy tent, where Alexis and her family were setting up an eating contest. While Max’s gaze wandered further into the field, his jaw dropped. A sea of tables, chairs, appetizer stands, contest stages, and loads of barrels that were marked in white letters, “Fresh Tea.”
“Whoa, that’s a lot of people,” he said with astonishment.
“Last time there was more. This event is held every five years and people from all over Hitrea come and visit. It’s quite a party, you know. So many people coming together at one place.”
Max completely froze, his arms and legs were like butter accidentally put in a freezer. He sighed, knowing that it would be the worst time to have a party.
“I’m really sorry,” he said. “I need have a talk with my uncle right now and it’s really urgent.”
“No, no… You’ve done enough. I’ll see you tonight.”
Max didn’t reply, but just stared at her for a couple moments, and the ran back to Patropoli Tower.

Sweet sixteen suggestions!?

So my party is at the end of March, and I have an idea of what I want to do. Like I have the canopy tents to put outside, and I’m going to have lots of food that everyone can eat whenever though out the party. It’s going to be from 5 to 10 at night, and have about 30 people there, so we’ll probably be outside most of the time. I’m also going to have music, but I just need some details and extra ideas, cause I really dont want people to be bored or feel awkard, so any helpful ideas will be great.
