What are the best ways to display crafts at a craft show booth?
I am new at selling my designs at craft shows and fairs. I make jewelry. cloth dolls, American Girl Doll clothes, robes and what ever else I am inspired to sew, crochet, knit, link/bead or illustrate. Need to know of some eye catching inexpensive ways to do this that is easy to unload and pack up. I do mostly indoor shows. But if the opportunity did arrive where it would be outside…..I would need to have the right tent or canopy as well. Need some ideas.

It’s easier to list what is not allowed; No booze, no bbq’s (many used to bring them), and no weapons. There now is a checkpoint to get through. They will confiscate and keep all of the above, then let you in.
I’m pretty sure that’s it, but if you want to be positive you can always call either The Boston Police or the MA State Police. The old MDC police use to run it, think it’s state police but not positive, but am sure either would know. But I hit the biggies…beyond that long as you can take it down and fold it up, they don’t really care what goes in. Folks build mini-homes for day. They’re pretty mellow about allowing most stuff in, long as it’s not a hazard or not illegal. Have fun!

Should I start a snack bar business?
So me and a friend were operating concessions at a church event, and a lot of money was made. So we were thinking if we started a concession stand in the local area, would we make good profit? We have a grill, snow cone machine, popcorn maker, cooler for drinks like in a store, and we were thinking of selling candy too. We have a canopy tent, and tables too. Could we make alot of money from this for our own profit? do we need anything else to get started?

It’s worth a try.
I once met a couple who sold popcorn out of a cart on the beach in Florida. They claimed to earn enough to live on for a year in just 5 months, selling nothing but popcorn. Maybe they had low expenses, I never did find out how much actual money was involved.

what are the things called that go on hotels to shelter guests???
My church is ooking to but a cover for our building and i need to know what they are called i looked up tent and canopy btu got nothing.
It’s the material shelter you see on hotels so when its raining guests can pull right up without getting wet…seen more on older model buildings.
